Mr. Garnier is an excellent business-man. Our cooperation started some months ago and from then it is growing on. He found us as a unique guitar manufacturer company among the new member states of the EU. We visited him and he fell in love with Fibenare Erotic immediately. If you would like to have a Fibenare in France do not hesitate to contact him and try some Fibenare guitars in Niort. In 2005 there would be special events and exhibitions where you could listen and play on Fibenare.

April 2004 was very important for Fibenare Guitars Co. We exhibited 16 guitars in Musikmesse Frankfurt, not only guitars but bass-guitars as well. Last year we realised how important it was for a Hungarian Guitar Manufacturer to travel to EU sphere and introduced its products to a wider audience. During the preparation period a completely new stand construction was designed and produced with the help of several friends of us. Parallel with the guitars we produced press-materials with photos and descriptions for the press. Invited our friend Mr. Sandor Szabo to make a guitar workshop and introduce the real Fibenare sound during the fair.

This year Fibenare Erotic was in the lime-light of the Messe. We produced five guitars from this model, one was lefty and it was very popular among the visitors. The most important guitar magazines visited Fibenare stand. (Bass Player, Guitar Player, The Guitarist, Gitarre und Basse). On behalf of the Hungarian musical media, Mr. Rezső Soltész, the editor of Hungarian Musisacan magazin took some photos and it was a real nice gesture for us.

The most memorable part of the exhibition was when we met to Mr. Kostas, the Greek guitar artist, who loved in Fibenare Dragon for the first time so much that at the end of the Messe he bought that model. He came to the stand several times, tried the instruments, told some words about his life and music and we started to become friends. You could really imagine how happy we were.

We got a lots of interesting questions and requests concerning our production, extremely high number of musician tried our guitars. The exhibition gave us the chance to talk to our colleagues and during the last days we tried and watched the guitars of each others. We loved the atmosphere of the fair and the heavy days as well. We started to prepare for the following one next year. Please have a look on the photo-album.

How does Fibenare Guitar Manufactory is connected to Jazz competitions? For the first sight the only connection is that Fibenare guitar has won the second price of the competition. It could be a sole business co-operation, or using a very fashionable world, we could simply call it sponsorship, but let's not simplify the case so much.

As an introduction it is worth to mention that we were found of music from our very early childhood. We were listening to music, including jazz, every time, (just to mention a few from the big American musicians Armstrong, Coltraine, Gillespie, and from the Hungarian, the Benkó Band). Besides this at the beginning of the 80's we attended high standard concerts in Kecskemét - like the concerts of Bohém Ragtime Band, or the Jazz Festival. We were literally infected by music, and after a while visiting concert became a life-style for us.

After finishing secondary school we moved to Budapest to continue our studies and we had more and more possibilities to visit concerts of musicians we knew by their disks before. We got know club life and we met several outstanding musicians and we also had the chance to visit the Marbel Room of Hungarian Radio, where we attended high standard concerts every month. We also took active part in organising and amplifying the Jazz Club of Schönherz Dormitory. At that time we didn't know that one we would return there with Fibenare guitars.

Besides visiting concerts we started to develop our guitars as well, and more and more people started to play the Fibenare guitars. At the concerts we gained lots of inspirations that resulted the birth of new ideas which appeared on our guitars immediately. As a result of constant development we have produced more than 10 types of guitar models during the last few years.

After all these one day we got a phone call. It was Róbert Maloschik, head of Jazz section in the Hungarian National Radio. He asked us to provide a 5 string bass guitar as a price for the 7th National (International) Jazz Competition. I had to admit that we were already waiting for this request which pleased us very much. It was very nice to feel that our work is followed and as an accomplishment of it we have received such a request. After the first meeting and getting better know the atmosphere of the Jazz Competitions we took advantage of the request we received.

We provided Fibenare guitars for talent competitions several times. On the one hand these competitions are very important, because we have the chance to meet several talented musicians, specially bass guitarists. On the other hand Fibenare, according to its possibilities would like to give the chance for talented young musicians to play high standard instruments and to be able to concentrate on the improvement of their talent.

We have manufactured a 5 string Fibenare Bass Guitar for the lucky bassist, which will fully serve the requirements of jazz music. Since almost all of the spare parts were developed and produced by Fibenare and the instruments are unique, the guitar also has a unique tone and a harmonious form.

A big dream of us came true in March 2003. Fibenare Guitars Manufactury attended the Musikmesse in Frankfurt, the biggest Music Instrument Exhibition of Europe for the first time as an exhibitor. We were the only Hungarian firm among the firms producing electric guitars at the five-day exhibition. There were many surprises waiting for us when we arrived and even on the first day. We could experienced right away how is a well organised, professional exhibition in Western Europe. Everything went as we discussed earlier. We took eight instruments with us to Frankfurt. Four of them were electric guitars, Fibenare Tle, Erotic, Basic Jazz and Eagle, and the other four were bass guitars, among which there was an extra 5 string and 6 string Fibenare guitar as well.

It was very nice to experience the international music environment, where we could meet guitar producers from France, Switzerland, Finland, Holland. It was a very positive experience to feel their interest towards our products. In Frankturt everybody was interested in the production processes, the professional solutions we use. We had many visitors at our stand, they were very interested in our firm and products, therefore in the first three days we could experience the atmosphere of Musikmesse only at our stand. Of course we also had the time to meet our foreign partners and introduce them our achievements. Beside our already existing relations we could establish new ones as well. Many of the foreign exhibitors were surprised when they realised that we were from Hungary. We were unique in this international environment. If we add that our Hungarian musician friends living in Frankfurt also visited our stand, and we could talk with them (as you can see in the photos as well) we can be really satisfied. We learnt a lot in these few days. We have decided that we have to be there next year as well, we are already preparing.
